With just two minutes of ninja focus you could nail a media interview to launch your brand into the stratosphere.

And because I want it to take less than two minutes to read this article, here’s how you do it.

All journalists want to know the answers to six basic questions – which form the basis of every media interaction:

  1. Who
  2. What
  3. Why
  4. When
  5. Where, and
  6. How

Of course, these very simple questions (which are great at networking events, and for job interviews) which can also spin off into multiple who, what, why, when, where and how questions.

Let’s look at a quick example …

Who is in your media release (who is being quoted – you, another expert, your customer)?

Who are you (what is your credibility/authority)?

Who are you giving advice to (tired mums, stressed business owners, struggling homeowners)?

What is the purpose of this release?

What advice are you giving?

What is going on? What is happening?

This then continues for why, when, where and how.

Simply jot down – in bullet point – the answers to these, before heading into your next media interview and leave a Media Darling.™

I’ll give you another 10 steps to free and media publicity at a very special webinar being held this week. You can REGISTER HERE.
